Hi Everyone!!

My name is Allie, and I'm your new host for Mighty Aphrodite! I plan to keep the format of this show basically the same, with the focus being on female vocalists. I know what I like, and I know what I usually play. What I'd really like to do is bring a large variety of female vocalists to the Atlanta music scene, and for that I'd really love listener input!

While I have a large collection of "girl rock," I am by no means THE expert. If there's anything you'd like to hear, or some genre that I am neglecting, please let me know. Like I said, the goal here is to create exposure for all sorts of women that rock. Feedback is vital!

That said, I plan to use this blog to post my playlists for the shows as they air. I'll label each post as the date the show aired. The following is this week's playlist. It's mostly accurate, though some songs may be slightly out of order. Thank you so much for listening, and I look forward to a great year!
